Traffic Alert for Immediate Release Monday, July 17, 2006 Traffic Advisory for Interstate 295 Southbound Contact (Media Only): Erik Linden (202) 671-2004; Karyn LeBlanc (202) 671-3490 (Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be performing repair work on I-295 Southbound at the approach of Bridge 505 approximately 1.5 miles north of the exit to Pennsylvania Avenue. The work is slated for July 19 through July 26, 2006. One lane of traffic will be closed in the southbound direction from 9 am to 3 pm. Motorists traveling southbound are advised to use caution and expect delays. The work is weather permitting.
