Woodrow Wilson Bridge Advisory

Contact (Media Only): Erik Linden (202) 671-2004; Karyn LeBlanc (202) 671-3490

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is working in conjunction with regional transportation officials and would like to reiterate that motorists traveling through the District to and from Maryland and Virginia this weekend should be advised of Woodrow Wilson Bridge related delays due to construction work.

In the District, the work may create delays for motorists traveling on I-295 outbound. In addition, motorists may expect higher than normal traffic volume on I-395 and Kenilworth Avenue through the District. DDOT officials will be monitoring traffic during the weekend and will have message boards posted advising motorists of alternate routes. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the Capital Beltway around the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
