Street Closings and Parking Restrictions for the Millions More Movement
This is to advise the public that several streets will be closed to vehicular traffic and parking will be prohibited this weekend to accommodate the Millions More Movement events on and around the National Mall. In addition, the public is advised of the Metropolitan Police Department's plans to activate its Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras during this event.
Street Closings
From approximately noon on Friday, October 14, 2005, until approximately midnight on Saturday, October 15, 2005, the following street will be closed to vehicular traffic:
- Maryland Avenue, SW, from 3rd Street to Independence Avenue, SW
From 8 pm on Friday, October 14, until midnight on Saturday, October 15, the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic:
- Constitution Avenue, NW, from Pennsylvania Avenue to 12th Street, NW
- 6th Street, NW, from Constitution Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
