Traffic Alert for Immediate Release July 18, 2003 Westbound Traffic Lanes on M Street in Georgetown Closed on Sunday On Sunday, July 20, from 5 am to 8 pm, the three westbound lanes on the north side of M Street, NW, will be closed from 33rd to 34th Street; westbound traffic will be rerouted to one of the eastbound lanes on the south side of M Street. Normal Sunday parking regulations will be enforced on the south side. Businesses and residents in the area have been notified. The closure is needed for the erection of a crane for the construction of a building on the north side of M Street.
