Single Lane Condition for the 11th Street Local Bridge, Between O Street and I-295 on January 18 

As part of the 11th Street Bridge Project, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will reduce lanes on the 11th Street Local Bridge between O Street, SE and I-295, starting at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, January 18.

WASHINGTON, DC – As part of the 11th Street Bridge Project, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will reduce lanes on the 11th Street Local Bridge between O Street, SE and I-295, starting at 5:00 am on Friday, January 18. The lane closures will allow crews to complete the final sidewalk placement for the bridge.  Inbound and outbound traffic will be controlled by a flagging operation.  

There are currently two inbound lanes and one outbound lane on the 11th Street local bridge and all lanes are scheduled to be reopened to traffic at 12 pm (noon) on January 18, 2013.

Electronic message signs will be in place to provide motorists advanced notice of the scheduled closure.

In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, this work will be rescheduled and an updated advisory will be distributed.
